Legal
Privacy notice
Last updated 8 September 2026
This notice covers https://zappy.software — the Zappy marketing website. It does not cover the Zappy product or MyOrder, which are governed separately.
What this site collects
The site is deliberately low-data. There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, no session cookie and no cross-site tracking.
- Demo requests. If you submit the demo form, we receive the name, work email, company, team size, area of interest and any message you provide. This is used solely to respond to your request and arrange a walkthrough.
- Operational logs. Our servers keep short-lived, structured request logs for security and reliability. For the demo endpoint these contain a one-way hash of your IP address and non-identifying fields (for example the area of interest). We do not log form contents, email addresses, cookies or headers.
- Theme preference. Your light / dark choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
Legal basis & retention
We process demo-request details to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to sales enquiries. We keep them only as long as needed to follow up, and then delete or archive them under our internal retention schedule.
Who sees it
Demo-request details are handled by Zappy staff and by our transactional email provider, which transmits the message to our inbox. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the details you submitted, or object to our use of them. Email sales@zappy.software and we'll action it. Simply not submitting the form means we collect nothing about you beyond the short-lived operational logs described above.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, note the change on this page.
